Allyson is a San Antonio, Texas native who found her passion for veterinary medicine early on.
She began her career in 2010 as a kennel technician and veterinary assistant at Alamo Feline Health Center, working alongside Dr. Gary Norsworthy. Motivated by her love for the work, Allyson pursued her veterinary technician license at Palo Alto College from 2015 to 2017. Upon graduation, she joined MissionVet Specialty and Emergency as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, where she worked closely with surgeon Dr. Tige Witsberger and later took on the role of his personal Client Patient Coordinator as the practice expanded.
In 2022, Allyson decided to broaden her skills and enrolled at the College of Healthcare Professions to study Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with plans to return to veterinary medicine after completing her program. Throughout her education, she has been grateful for the support and mentorship of Dr. Marty Henderson and SonoVet, and she is thrilled to now be a part of their team.
Outside of work, Allyson adores her two fur babies, Sylas (a dog) and Louis (a cat), who have been her steadfast companions through both college degrees. She enjoys crafting, playing video games, and immersing herself in fantasy novels.
