Carina Valero

Carina is a human medicine trained Sonographer with a background in veterinary medicine, as a veterinary technician.

She was given a chance to have a clinical rotation at the Veterinary Specialist of North Texas and was offered a job as a Veterinary Ultrasonographer before human sonography school ended and since then her entire career experience has been in veterinary medicine.

Carina has always had a passion to dive into animal sonography ever since seeing SonoVet come into the first clinic in which she worked. She feels blessed to have a full circle moment and work with the first company that showed her that veterinary sonography is a career path I can walk towards/on and I can’t wait to see where the journey takes us.

Carina will be serving both as a clinical sonographer, but also as a trainer for new veterinary clinical sonographers.
