Geni Bermes

Dr. Genelle Bermes grew up on a small farm near Odessa, Texas, where her love for animals started early.

At just 15, she began working for a local veterinarian, an experience that sparked her lifelong passion for veterinary medicine.

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 2009 and worked in emergency veterinary medicine, where she developed advanced skills in critical care and diagnostics. In 2013, Dr. Bermes joined SonoVet, bringing her expertise and dedication to the team and helping provide exceptional veterinary care to the community.

In addition to her professional life, Dr. Bermes is a proud mother of twins, born in 2016. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children—whether it’s hunting, hiking, walking, or capturing nature through photography. Her commitment to animals and her love for the outdoors shape the compassionate, personalized care she provides to every patient.
