Dr. Sarah Tolson grew up in the Central Texas area and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age.
She attended Texas A&M University and obtained both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science followed by a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2018. While in her fourth year of vet school, she received the AAHA Award for Proficiency in Primary Care.
Following graduation, Dr. Tolson worked in a small animal practice in the south Austin area where she developed her interest in ultrasonography. Dr. Tolson looks forward to forming relationships with the surrounding veterinary hospitals as she assists with patient diagnostics and treatment!
Outside of work, Dr. Tolson enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Erin Tolson (also a Clinical Sonographer with SonoVet) and their daughter Madison, along with horseback riding, reading, and hiking. Dr. Tolson has a dog named Riley.
